Annual General Meeting

This year’s AGM will be held upstairs at the Terminus Hotel (492 Queens Parade Clifton Hill) on Monday 8th August. It is your chance to catch up on what’s happening at Hawthorn Cycling Club plus enjoy a social evening. The meeting starts at 6:30 PM. We will be serving finger food and you can grab a drink from the bar. The meeting will finish at about 7:30pm. After that you can order a meal and stay for a chat.
As well as catching up on progress, we will be unveiling plans for redeveloping Robinson Road Pavilion (Hawthorn velodrome) and if that is not enough we will be presenting medals to those who were on the podium at the club criterium champs.

Would you like to serve on the committee for next year or just volunteer to assist next year?  We intend for the committee to have 10 elected positions currently including:
  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Sponsorship/Marketing Officer
  • Membership Officer
  • Junior Development Officer
  • Women’s Development Officer
  • Recreational Program Officer
  • Member Protection Information Officer
 Committee members are elected for two year terms and this year the following positions are due for election:
  • President
  • Vice President
  • Treasurer
  • Junior Development Officer
  • Membership Officer
 If you wish to nominate for one of the above five positions you need to complete the Nomination Form below. All nominations must be seconded by another member, and returned to the Club Secretary, Lou Hogan (info@hawthorncycling.org).
However there are many other ways you can contribute to the club.  We also need a group of people to work on the vast array of activities we run. Below is a list of areas where we can always do with more assistance; if you are interested in any of these just let Lou Hogan know and we will get you involved.
