Support, friendship and fun for all women
Our program.

Skills sessions
HCC offers a number of skills sessions throughout the year covering all aspects of cycling including cornering, track riding and even mountain biking!
These skills sessions are open to Hawthorn Cycling Club members only – another great reason to join!
-
Training camp
We hold a Women’s training camp for the HCC women in March each year. Past camp locations have included Bright, Marysville, Kyneton and Yarck. It’s a weekend not to be missed and includes rides to suit all levels of experience, organised activities and plenty of laughs.
-
Racing
Whether it’s your first race or you’ve been racing for years, we have something to suit your level of experience. Alongside our own races, such as the Northern Combine Hawthorn Trophy Race and the women’s Criterium Series at the Teardrop, many of our women members will coordinate racing together at other events on the calendar.
-
Social rides
Regular social rides are organised by our women members throughout the year around Melbourne and its outer regions. They may venture out to the Dandenongs or the Macedon Ranges to get in some hill climbing or simply ride along Beach Road, taking in the view across the Bay.
-
Social events
All work, and no play… not good! That’s why we ensure there’s a social element to our training rides and why we hold regular Women@HCC social events. This provides an opportunity for the women of HCC to touch base off the bike, share riding experiences and any thoughts on how we can develop and improve the Women@HCC program.
-
Women Facebook group
The Women@HCC Facebook Group is there to determine who’s racing, coordinate travel arrangements etc. This helps us make sure there’s always be a friendly face at races and bunch rides to give you the support you need.
As a member, you can join the group here.
